FPS drops - Help

Boa tarde

Bom, ando já com este problema à algum tempo, mas só agora decidi tentar resolver isto, que é os drops de fps em jogos que puxam mais pela gráfica e/ou que têm uma má performance deles mesmos.

 

Quando digo drops de fps, tou a falar do género, estou a jogar a 50-60 fps normalmente, e do nada  desce para os 10-20 fps, durante 1-2 sec, voltando a subir novamente para os 50-60.

 

Estive a testar, usando o msi afterburner, e reparei que quando a gráfica está a trabalhar a 90%+, o jogo está a funcionar às mil maravilhas, mas depois ela decide trabalhar a 30%- dando lugar à outra gráfica (intel), e levando os fps a descerem drasticamente, e não estou a ver o motivo para tal... (abaixo vou mostrar um exemplo do que está a acontecer aqui)

 

PC specs:

• Processador (CPU): Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4720HQ 2.60GHz
• Gráfica 1 (GPU1): GeForce GTX 860M
• Gráfica 2 (GPU2): Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
• VRAM: 4096 MB GDDR5
• RAM: 16.0 GB DDR3
• Resolução: 1920x1080
• Sistema Operativo: Windows 10 Home x64

 

Exemplo:

O jogo usado no exemplo é o ARK: Survival Evolved, que é o jogo com bad performance em que poderia demonstrar perfeitamente o problema.

 

Aqui vai o print, quando está normal:

(GPU1 é a GTX, GPU2 é a intel)

 

Deixo também o gráfico de temperatura da gráfica:

 

Provavelmente esses arrefecimentos da gráfica devem-se quando o caso do 2º print acontece.

 

Acho que não faz sentido nenhum o que está a acontecer, alguém sabe o motivo de isto estar a acontecer? Ou como resolver?

Aceito qualquer tipo de sugestões, já não sei o que tentar aqui xD

Finally found a solution!

The problem wasnt with the gpu but with the cpu. Checked with CPU ID Software the core speed and it was @798mhz. 

Installed a software called throttlestop which has option called "BD PROCHOT" and "EIST". By Unchecking this disables the speedstep and changes the core speed to manual.. After doing that, Cpu remains on top of nominal value, the temperatures stay at 61 deg and i can play with more than 60 fps at max settings

The problem is that after a few minutes the turbo boost turns on the cpu's clock goes up to 3.5GHz and the because of that the cpu gets really high temperatures and games going to drop framerates like hell...

 

Here is a description how to solve this problem:

 

Download the ThrottleStop 6.00

 

 

Run as administrator and thats how you set it up:

O problema não é esse, porque Clock underlock é algo que quando começa não para até o desactivares pelo throttlestop, o que ele tem é drops random que tanto acontecem como param de acontecer.
